Monitor your child's literacy gains as they use StepsWeb using our new "Guardian" accounts
Guardian accounts are a new feature that lets you monitor your child's progress on their school's StepsWeb account.
You'll have access to comprehensive graphs and data detailing your child's progress on StepsWeb.
With a Guardian account you have access to a bank of StepsWeb printables to reinforce your child's learning.
You'll also be able to see and print any certificates your child has earned as they complete StepsWeb Levels
Each school will make their own decision about using the Guardian Monitoring feature. A school is not required to provide access to their StepsWeb account.
You cannot access any information for students unless you have their student username and password.
You cannot make any changes to the student login. You cannot move levels or set work for your student.
The Guardian Monitoring is disabled by default. There is an option in the school settings that allows you to toggle Guardians being allowed to sign themselves up. You can find the school settings under "Settings" when you log in.
Note that you will require administrator access to your school's account to change any settings.
Even if the feature is disabled, you can still individually invite people to monitor specific students.
